0 comments / Posted on by Segun Adewumi

Have you gotten hair from us? How much do you love the hair? How have you styled it? What clothing have you been matching with it?

You can always take a picture and tag us on Facebook or Instagram @senitashair… we’ll repost!

As always, we want you to get the best out of the virgin closures you get from us. So this right here is us dropping some knowledge you need!

    WHAT IS A CLOSURE?
A virgin hair closure is one of the best things you can get in the market today. The best way to tell a closure apart is the length of the lace. Closures have smaller widths than Frontals… and they are cheaper as well!
However, when it comes to getting your closure, you can still pull some trendy styles with it.

    LIKE WHAT STYLE?

You can order from us the normal one-part closure to nail that corporate boss lady look. Frequent visits to the stylist is all you need to decide where you want the parting to be.

    BUY NOW

If you prefer not to take a trip down to the stylist often, then we suggest you get the three-part closure. You can choose to show off all three lines or spice it up by combing your hair to one side. That way, you get the benefit of a one-part closure at the sides. Good news, if this closure is long enough—like a 6 by 6, you can get some baby hair/edge to complete that look.

    BUY NOW

Then you can get the one from the lady herself. This Closure, popularized by Kim Kardashian is unique for the length of its parting. The Kim K Closure has the longest parting you can get in the market today. It is perfect for the bun—a real modern look, and if you feel like wearing your hair down… it is stunning as well. This is a favourite when talking Closures.

This little piece of knowledge right here should influence your decisions when buying hair. Remember, SenitasHair.com is your plug for quality and affordable hair in the market today. If you’re a retailer or an individual, best believe we have that beauty touch you need.

    Till next time.
    Stay beautiful

  • How to maintain your virgin human hair - the hair care tips!

0 comments / Posted on by Segun Adewumi

Wigs are beautifiers, they enhance your style and make you gleam with confidence. If you are a Senitas Hair customer, you’d probably know by now that we offer the best hair quality at the most affordable rates anywhere in the United States today…

And just because we’d love to watch you glow all year long, here are some very important tips you should consider to maintain a healthy virgin human hair.

    1. Wash and condition occasionally with proper care. Also schedule visits to a stylist to help you style whichever way you deem fit.
    2. Invest in hair care products that are only made specifically for high-quality human hair wigs, such as wig conditioners, hair spray, brushes, shampoos and many more
    3. When not in use, put your wigs on a stand or on a mannequin to make it retain it’s shape
    4. Wash your human hair wig once about 1-2 months. This is very much dependent on the frequency of wearing.
    5. For Full lace human hair wigs, do not comb your hair immediately after washing. Ensure you comb only when it is dry. Be sure to use special wide brush to comb your hair.
    6. To restyle your human hair wig, you may use a blow dryer, curling iron or flat iron on low heat settings only or use electric rollers on a medium setting.
    7. It is best to allow your human hair wig to air dry on a wig stand as this is most gentle on the hair fibers. Rollers can be used to set the wig.
    8. Direct sunlight will fade the hair so avoid storing your wig where it will be exposed to light.
    9. Lighter hair colors are more delicate than darker colors because additional processing is needed to achieve the light colors.
    10. Store your wig on a wig stand or form that is smaller than the base of the cap to prevent the cap from stretching.

0 comments / Posted on by Senitas Hair

You are for sure a lucky woman if you are blessed with long naturally curly hairs. If not, then don’t worry, you are not alone. These days, women in glamour world make use of professionally applied extensions made of real hair or synthetic hair. These extension pieces come in different width and length so as to place hairs on different angles of the head. And not to mention, these pieces are attached with a clip so that it got easily stuck with your head.

Excuse me! Does curly clip in hair extensions sounds unfamiliar to you? Let’s face it. It is an easy way to make hair look longer and thicker for individuals who love curly weaves, especially in the Brazilian market. The curly clip in allows a person to alter their hair style each day without committing to permanent hair extension.

In the market, you can get packs of curly clip in hair extensions having different widths that can be used individually or all together. In addition, they add a contrasting colour and highlight your hair as well. Extensions clip or staple are a complement to the hair and provides quite natural finish if placed correctly. Unlike other extensions of hair, clip or staple is characterized by its easy handling and comfort. Moreover, they are available in a number of shades so you just need to pick the one that goes best with your natural curl pattern hair for getting modern trendy looks. They are being constructed on a weft which is clipped directly onto the scalp. Then the hair is combed over the weft to hide the insert. For instructional videos, you can Google the step by step guide to achieve your desired effect. You can also opt for a professional hair stylist if the desired curly hair extension is unavailable, so that the stylish can perm your extensions before attaching them onto your head. This way, the extensions can be perm to match the curl of your hairs.

Therefore, curly clip in hair extensions are perfect to use for a temporary wavy look without having to curl your hair extensions. These extensions are completely adaptable to any type of person, and you have a system that can regulate the diameter of the extension with the size of the head. The curly hair extensions is sure to compliment you in holiday party, beach party, wedding party or just for a temporary look.

  • How to Treat Your Hair Extensions like Gold

0 comments / Posted on by Senitas Hair

We’ve already got you covered on hair extensions here on Senitas, so now that you’ve made this worthy splurge, it’s time to talk proper care. To ensure a long-lived look, it’s essential to get the maintenance rituals for both real human and synthetic hair down pat (yes—there are differences between the two). Below, we’ve consulted with experts at top salons to inform us on the dos and don’ts when it comes to preserving these luxe hairdo additions. Scroll through to learn exactly how!

Why is it important to take care of your extensions?

“They can damage your own hair and won’t last as long as they’re supposed to,” Rita Hazan stylist Mylo tells InStyle. It’s especially important to attend to the definitive needs of your particular hair extensions. “The natural oils of your hair will not reach the tips of your extensions,” added Monica Thorton, co-founder of RPZL. “Proper care includes a daily brushing routine, hydration, and the use of natural products that avoid drying chemicals.”

How do you take care of real human hair extensions?
According to RPZL, it's critical to wash human hair extensions with only sulfate- or paraben-free shampoo specifically on the roots. To help soften and detangle, try Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Sulfate Free Shampoo ($31; bumbleandbumble.com).

RPZL also recommends not infusing the hair in either salt or chlorinated water. Let's be real, that's extremely difficult in the summertime, which is why we're suggesting Barracuda Aquia Dechlorinating Shampoo ($7; amazon.com), a 2-in-1 formula that clarifies hair while also eliminating chlorine odor.

Additionally, avoid bedtime with a wet head (a dry braid or pigtails overnight is ideal) and treat your extensions with care—no pulling or tugging. Try the Spornette Large Super Looper Brush ($12; birchbox.com) to gently brush and detangle without creating further damage.

How do you take care of synthetic hair extensions?

According to Mylo, “Synthetic hair gets dull very fast. Some qualities can be styled with heat, but you have to be a little more careful that you don’t melt the hair.” To style synthetic hair without damaging it, try Drybar High Tops Self-Grip Rollers ($10; sephora.com) or Conair Brush Foam Rollers ($10; drugstore.com) for effortless curls without all that damage.

When washing synthetic extensions to eliminate dullness, lather with a formula specialized for synthetic hair, such as Revlon Texturizing Cleanser for Synthetic Hair ($9; sallybeauty.com). After shampooing the extensions, to painlessly remove tangles, use a wide tooth comb. We love the Ouidad Double Detangler Comb ($26; sephora.com).

Is there a difference when taking care of clip-ins vs. more permanent extensions?
The answer is yes. "Clip-in extensions are made to be temporary, so washing and styling shouldn't be done as often," Mylo tells InStyle. When it comes to real extensions, it's important to wash and style more frequently. "Permanent extensions stay on your hair anywhere from 6 weeks to 3 months. Therefore, you need to follow the specific instructions from your stylist before leaving the salon."
